I never planned to become a business mentor

I planned to become the best clinician I could.

Then I accidentally built a business, not the Instagram version, the real version.

The version with payroll, policies, difficult conversations, compliance audits, cashflow spreadsheets, Sunday afternoons writing procedures and the occasional "what the hell have I done?" moment.

Turns out helping people was the easy part, building a business that could keep helping people. That took a whole different skill set.

Over the last fifteen years I've learnt both.

Some of those lessons came from building a health practice, that has held NDIS registration for over 6 years, turns over multiple 7 figures every year and has lots of moving parts.

Some came from sitting on corporate boards for businesses that turnover 80+ million per annum and operate within both corporate and healthcare compliance requirements.

Some came from practicing and teaching yoga.

Some came from spending a year living (and working) in Antarctica, running an Antarctic research station. When you're living on the bottom of the planet with only a handful of people, you learn pretty quickly that systems matter.

Systems matter.

Structures matter.

Looking after yourself matters.

They're exactly the same lessons that build sustainable businesses.

That's why I'm here.

Not because I think everyone should build a million-dollar company (sometimes its better and more profitable to stay small), but because I think good people deserve businesses that don't consume their lives.

I have built & run the business you are trying to build
